well, i’ve moved part of my other blog (enchanted musing) over here. why you ask? well, because i originally started enchanted musing as a vehicle for my paper crafting business. but once my paper crafting store shut its doors and i had no where to focus at doing it – i was (sort of) forced to find a new – if temporary – craft.
in walks mr yarn. i wasn’t expecting him. i wasn’t looking for him. i figured i just didn’t need a craft in the meantime. ok, i “needed” a craft, but i wasn’t going to go out looking for it. i’m a strong woman, i don’t need like that. and then, mr yarn found me - in need and just waiting (with baited breath).
so this last month has been all about yarn. i spend so much time with yarn that i have neglected my relationship with paper. i didn’t mean to, but yarn just offered so much diversity. yarn showed me new things, made me tingle inside. i still get a kick out of paper – paper is fun to take for a spin, but yarn. yummy!
but there is a stability to paper that can’t be ignored. it takes up more space and makes a mess when it’s with you, but its always there (always). you always need it and it always needs you. i will return to paper soon. a special new place that paper and i can explore together is on the horizon – its just a matter of days. paper and i will soon be reunited.
i hope you enjoy whatever this turns into. i don’t know where it’s going to go. i’m an explorer at heart – i like finding new things, trying them on and using what works for me. that’s what you will see here. – blogs, links, photos, creativity. but it will be all about my love of paper and what i’ve also found in yarn (crochet, to be exact). take the ride with me…
